With a Telegram bot, your customers chat with your agent from Telegram. TukiAssistant sets up the bot's webhook for you.

You need the admin role in the workspace and a published agent.

## Steps

1. In Telegram, open a chat with [@BotFather](https://t.me/BotFather) and send `/newbot`.

2. Choose a name and a username for the bot. BotFather replies with the bot token: a text like `123456789:AA...`. Copy it.

3. In TukiAssistant, open **Integrations** in the sidebar.

4. Under **Add integration**, click **Telegram**.

5. Enter an **Integration name** and paste the token in **Bot Token**.

6. In **Agent**, choose the agent that will answer.

7. Click **Create**. TukiAssistant registers the webhook with Telegram.

8. Write to your bot from Telegram. The agent answers within a few seconds.

When you open the connected bot, you see the Telegram webhook status. If it shows an error, check that the token is the one BotFather gave you.
